Approval voting
Create this voteApproval voting lets you select every option you support. Each selected option receives one vote. The option selected by the most voters wins.
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
This ballot adds one vote to Tuesday and one to Thursday. Neither vote is divided or reduced.
Approving a second option
Approving another option does not take a vote away from your favorite. It does give that other option an equal vote, which may help it beat your favorite. The ballot cannot say “choose this only if my favorite loses.” Both selections count immediately.
This lets voters with different favorites also support an option they all find acceptable. That option can win even if relatively few voters would rank it first. How much a voter prefers one approved option to another is not recorded.
Host this vote
Make clear what a selection means for the question, such as a meeting date the voter can attend. Voters may select any number of options, including none, and replace their ballot before closing. Equal highest totals are reported as a tie.
